This small village is built on stilts in the middle of a wide, calm river, and is composed of small platforms and walkways that overhang the river. The economy of Jang Hui relies entirely on the fishing industry. The ruins of a Fire Nation military smelting factory, destroyed by the Avatar many years ago, are built into the cliffs upstream.
